ActiveAccelerated Basic Education Programme (ABEP) for Out-of-School Children in Sokoto State
Quality basic education for out-of-school and over-aged children, including Almajiri learners, girls and children with disabilities affected by conflict and displacement: foundational literacy, numeracy and life skills in 35 learning centres, with pathways into formal school and a crisis modifier for emergency radio learning.
ActiveFamily Life HIV Education (FLHE) and Education for Health and Wellbeing (EHW)
Supports quality Family Life HIV Education and Education for Health and Wellbeing that empowers adolescents and young people with skills to prevent HIV, reduce unintended pregnancies and eliminate gender-based violence in schools.
ActiveStrengthening Resilience through Multi-Sectoral Response in Borno, Zamfara and Sokoto States
With IRC and CHAD International, a 24-month multi-sectoral action providing coordinated life-saving assistance in hard-to-reach areas, improving the ability of IDPs and host communities to meet basic needs.
CompletedReaching and Empowering Adolescent Girls in Northwest Nigeria (REACH)
With the Ministry of Women and Children Affairs, LHI supported enrolled adolescent girls in Binji and strengthened grassroots engagement through community groups and protection structures.
