— Social Enterprise & Menstrual Equity
NIDAKE: Me & You.
Dignity, sustainability, and empowerment putting a smile on every woman and girl.
In Hausa, 'NIDAKE' translates to 'Me & You' — encapsulating our belief that menstrual health is a shared human responsibility. NIDAKE is a mission-driven social enterprise founded by Life Helpers Initiative (LHI) to combat period poverty by producing high-quality, reusable, and eco-friendly sanitary pads while training vulnerable women as vocational producers.

“Reusable pads and menstrual health education keeping girls confident and in school.”

Ending Period Absenteeism
Without affordable sanitary products, many girls miss school during their period or manage with unsafe materials.
NIDAKE reusable pads, paired with menstrual hygiene education, give girls a safe, washable option that lasts, so a period no longer has to mean missing class.

Tailoring & Micro-Enterprise
NIDAKE reusable pads are produced locally at the Goshen Development Centre, Tamaje Bye Pass, Sokoto: “For you, for me, for every woman.”
Local production keeps the pads affordable and builds tailoring skills in the community.
