105 Facilitators and 164 Committee Members Trained to Deliver Quality Learning

A competitive recruitment attracted more than 680 applicants from across Sokoto State. 105 facilitators were selected and deployed across the six participating LGAs.
A three-day workshop covered the ABEP curriculum, learner-centred teaching, classroom management, child safeguarding, learner assessment and digital enrolment and reporting systems. Average knowledge scores rose from 35% before training to 65% after.
Community ownership is just as central. 164 members of Community-Based Management Committees were trained in community mobilisation, behaviour change communication, child protection, learner retention and local advocacy, and regular review meetings let leaders assess progress and develop local solutions.
